 KARL MARET, M.D. - Karl holds an M.D. from the University of Toronto, a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering and B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He practices complementary medicine, specializing in nutrition, functional medicine and energy medicine at the Dove Center for Integrative Medicine in Aptos, California. As a post-doctoral fellow at UCSD, he developed all instrumentation for the American Medical Research Expedition to Mt. Everest in 1981. In 2000 he chaired the Annual Conference of the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energy and Energy Medicine (ISSSEEM). He is a poet, artist and life-long student of the Ancient Wisdom traditions. As President of the non-profit Dove Health Alliance foundation, he promotes global research networks and lectures extensively on energy medicine in Europe and America.
